Key Accountabilities:
Possess strong business acumen, with advanced experience and knowledge of the concept to pay process and provision of operational procurement support.
Demonstrates a consistent track record of delivery in operational procurement activity including helpdesk, requisition and order processing, tactical sourcing, and data management and administration within large and complex Procurement organizations.
Experience of working in a complex changing environment with demanding business objectives in a competitive market sector.
Experience of designing, establishing and managing shared service operations for Procurement. Experience of creating, building, leading and managing successful teams.
Significant experience of ERP systems such as Oracle.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide functional and team leadership and direction to creation, development, management and operation of a high performing Service Centre function.
Design, establish and manage a tactical buying organization and processes required to assure effective buying support including helpdesk, order administration, order expediting, procurement data management and continuous improvement projects.
Manage tactical sourcing activities in alignment with the Category Management team.
Design, establish and manage the supplier registration and on boarding process, such that suppliers are on boarded in a controlled but timely manner.
Work with the Performance and Process team to develop and implement a performance management framework incorporating high-level objectives, metrics, targets, regular reporting, management review and action plans that steer the team.
Work with the Performance and Process team to define, establish and implement key performance indicators, service and operation level agreements (KPI, SLA & OLA) that ensure that services are delivered to required standards, expectations and commitments.
Develop and run a workload prioritization and resource allocation process covering all of the team’s activities.
